2007 Subaru Impreza Center Console
Hi,
Recently purchased a 2007 Impreza WRX and it would seem that someone has tried to install an aftermarket stereo which didn't fit the profile, they have cut away some of the trim which looks a bit rubbish.
Where would I be able to purchase a replacement center console?
Once i get that replaced I can look at installing a decent stereo into it, any suggestions?
thanks guys!

Best bet is probably keeping an eye on the parts section here and I'm sure you could get one no trouble from another member here! Or post in the wanted section and someone will let you know if they have one

Looking at the picture i'm guessing its a facelifted dash/centre console.
It is very rare that they come up individually from the rest of it but always worth keeping an eye on what the breakers have coming in. If your Staffordshire then worth Trying Matty at MB Develeopments although usually its center consoles complete.

Few people on here breaking cars with these facias on. Look for a widetrack blob or hawk WRX or STI. Should all be the same. I'd expect to may £150 for the lot.
Have to say, they really have done a great job fitting that stereo. Can hardly tell where they have had to cut into the facia!!!!

Here you go mate, you might be able to find cheaper if you shop around but I was happy with them.
Head Unit:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01C6LK97Y
ISO Cable:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0043GWB2C
No trimming required with this, the brackets that hold the original head unit in have 4 screws per side, I was only able to get 3 per side into this one, holds perfectly fine however, you could drill an extra hole if you wanted but i thought it was unnecessary.
using the ISO cable its plug and play
if your car is like mine, above the radio slot between the 2 heater vents theirs a little space to mount the GPS receiver, use some velcro etc. to hold it into place.
the rest of the bits you can route around if you need USB thumb drive access, 3.5mm audio input etc.
the ISO cable is a perfect fit for the head unit so installation for the unit and gps should take you about 15 minutes, the rest of the bits (if you want to use them) would take a bit longer due to routing the cables
hope that helps

Cheers, I have just sent back a head unit that looked like the first one as it was too large for my hawkeye fascia panel... and looking on Amazon it says that yours is too but the photos say otherwise! I have a fold out single din unit, with a fold out screen at the moment, but would like to have a double din screen for a gps. Do you think you could measure you head unit for me? (if it's bigger than 172 X 97 then I'm totally mystified as Amazon give the dimensions as 180 X 105!).
Thanks!
Thanks!
