Around the hole in the headrest, there is a zip - does this allow you to take the seat lining off? (don't want to experiment and I managed to break the entire drivers side electric window control when trying to see it it 'pops' off!)

Think about it, thats subaru's way of putting the covers on, you can't take them off, but they find it easier to use a zip than another type of fixing.

Oh and BTW the drivers side electric window control DO just pop off...
