Anyone got any ideas where I can mount a SECS device in my classic 99 Turbo, i'm putting together a 3 way gauge pod at the moment which will go in the tray thing in the middle which doesnt leave any room for the secs, ideas?

Perhaps I need a double height centre pod

i've since removed the pod and put the round gauges up the a-pillar and the secs is mounted on top of the oddments tray lid until the offical subaru pods arrive.

I dont like having stuff out of place, I think the secs device is a useful peice of kit but not something you should be looking at whilst driving, perhaps when I get one i'll hide it out the way somewhere.

I wonder if anyone has ever removed the passenger air bag area and made any use of that space becuase its quite large. Whether its a wise move or not depends on your opinion of air bags I suppose

I couldn't decide between the single DIN or the pod version, so I ended up buying the stand-alone SECS S1002 unit, which I have placed in the little pocket in front of the gear lever.

I have thought of taking the unit apart and somehow integrate it into the dash, but haven't got past the planning stage yet
