Question

Hi all,

Is it poss to change to a my98 onwards steering wheel from the pants my97 wheel? IE does air bag etc wire up to same connections and does horn also. Any help would be great.

The model year '98 wheel is not that much better.....it does say "Momo" but you can't see it unless you're sat in front of it:
MY '99 onwards was a bit better. I'd like to change my '98 wheel for an aftermarket non-airbag one, but can't bring myself to do away with the airbag......well, OK, wife won't let me!:

I'm looking to change the chunky Subaru wheel for a later spec Momo one on my Classic......

No its not a straight change over I have done it on mine. You need to splice the old plug onto the new wheel the connectors are different. I can't remember the orientation now I think they are multicoloured on the my98 wheel but 2 yellows on my97 or vice versa. The orientation doesn't matter but you need to solder and becarefull if it goes off it will blow your face off....yadayada
