How does this frikin Dashmount bracket fit.

This is for a MY99 Classic.

This is for the Nokia car kit.

The Dashmount mentions a small screw to remove, but I can't get the centre console out!

I fitted one of these to my 02 so obviously might be different, but I had to take the trim off which surrounds the radio, the screws to remove the trim were up inside the ashtray I think, then it was just a case of gently prising the trim out until the snap fasteners release, sorry its a bit vague but it was a while ago and i've chucked the instructions,
