Defi or Autometer gauges?
#1
I also have autometer guages for a couple of reasons.
1. The price.
2. The phantom series is a pretty close match to the style of the dash.
Saying that though, if money was no object, I would definatly go with the Defi guages.

I've got some cash to spend before chrimbo and my daughter financially castrate me so am thinking of getting the following:-
Knocklink
Boost gauge
STI pedals and flaps!
My problem is I'd quite like a few more bits but this is dependent on what boost gauge I get. I'm not too sure STI pedals and mudflaps are worth the £100 and £150 respectively as it is but is it worth paying £200+ for a Defi guage when a £50 autometer gauge is going to tell me the same thing. I don't intend to go mental with high boost or making the car that much faster than it is now I'd just like an idea of whats going on under the bonnet.
However, I could always dump the pedals and just buy some rally mudflap plastic from Demon Tweeks and cut them to fit.
What do you guys think?
Ta.

Have a look at the photo's I've posted in the "General Technical" section on the "Boost Gauge" post.
The control box looks a bit odd as it's photographed before I removed the protective plastic film
