hi, i have just got a 95 import wrx wagon and need a bulb for behind the heater selection, nothing at halfords and the ones my local motor factors have given me are too small, any ideas where i can get replacemnt bulbs please? they are the ones with the blue/green covers on them, have tried searching here but no conclusive answer.

Maybe try your local Subaru dealer? CVC Cardiff 02920 222100 although they don't help imports with some things but if you give them the old bulb they should be able to get you one. There's also Dave Hendry cars 01666824369 (Bristol I think)that do Subaru's so they might have something small like this. Otherwise scrap yards maybe

 

If they are the same as the ones used in the switches, then these are them: Coloured Subminiature Bulbs : Small Bulbs & Lamps : Maplin
They used to do a clear one, but the green one will do the same job as a clear with a green cover. You just have to thread the wire around the bulb holder, and snip the excess off.

Looks like the one I posted. The wire wraps around the base. Take a look, you should be able to un wrap it. You can just see where one piece is wrapped on the front.

 

You can get those bulbs on ebay, thats where I had mine from! They are T5 neo wedge bulbs, they come in red/green/white and blue. His user name is warden_jp2002 and He ships form the US but they dont take long to come, he is spot on with postage!

They will come exactly like the one in the picture!
