Default Spec C Seats vs STi is my bum lying to me.

When I bought my 07 Hawk WRX I was very disapointed with the seats as they very quickly gave back ache and were just not that comfortabel. On the basis that the seats in my 02 Bug STi were the most comfortable seats ever, I went looking for a set. Stupidly I compromised on a set of 07 STi seats, because the door cards would fit withou modification. The seats were in my opinon poop.

So last week Slowboy racing said they had a set of 02 Spec C seats. I went down fitted them on the spot (Thanks Slowboy ). They are instantly better, I don't fall out of them in corners and my back is 100% better, but.....

Were the Spec C seats different (more supportive) than the STi, as they seem to be a lot tighter than I remember... Or I could have just put on a few more pounds than I had accounted for . Help please

07 STi seats are a pale imitation of the more supportive JDM Spec C seats. Bug Spec C seats are very very nice indeed.

Post Airbag light

anyone know a quick fix for getting rid of the airbag light

Guess I'll just have to diet till my bum fits in the seats!

Maybe when I fit in the spec C seats I'll be able to get the recarros for my 00 STi

What seats are those ones you changed to, they look more like a classic type seat?

Also, did you find you had a little more head room?

Thanks, they look very nice and just what I'm after

My 04 JDM seats are high and my head is very close to the roof. Just about OK for road after I've been up out of bed for an hour lol, but wouldn't be able to use a helmet in there...

The seats are also narrow and will make the outside of the top of my legs ache on a long journey.

My classic seats are fine, and look similar to yours., I'll keep an eye out for some.

Where did you come across yours?
