How to remove centre handbrake console on a newage?
I'm going to tackle changing the main carpet on my newage tomorrow, as there's a small hole worn through by previous owner (Woman) with heels.
Ok, I've had a look and can now see how to remove the rear seats, front seats and side trim, but I still need a few pointers before ripping apart the centre console arpund the handbrake.
Can anyone tell me how this is removed/loosened to allow the carpet to be replaced around it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers .

If it's like a classic, you need to undo a couple of screws under the centre glove box lid, then pull up the centre round the gear lever. The gear **** ought to come off too.
Then unscrew the centre console from the floor, it's about 6 screws. After that, the carpets will come out easily enough.
