Anyone know what plug this is near alternator?

It looks like the plug for the fuel evap purge solenoid.
The solenoid is bolted to the inlet manifold between the alternator and power steering pump and has a number of vacuum lines around it to which it connected to, that plug plugs into the bit thats bolted to the inlet

The evap system is nice for the environment, but totally unsuitable for a car IMHO.
The system lets oily vapours enter the induction system, thus contamination of air with oil can occur (this can/will lead to detonation over time, which is a no/no.
