Default Headlight Level Sensor

Hi all, another post about the headlight sensor!

Both my sensors are a mess and need replaced. I done some searching and discovered you can disable the system. It’s somewhere in the glovebox.

If i disconnect this, can I just manually adjust the lights to suit? I have an MOT shortly so need to do something quickly and rather avoid being sensors, pretty expensive!

Any help very appreciated.

Cheers Martyn

Hiya

Behind the glove box is a small silver ECU if this is disconnected it stops the light on the dash coming on, then its a case of manually adjusting the headlights with the screw in the rear of the lights. I found this on a search of this website.

Mine passed an MOT like this.
