Will these work/fit UK300 lights?

Cheers Apple
These are headlight bulbs, i.e. mains & dips, as oppsed to sidelights are they not
As it happens, these now come with Philips Blue Vision W5W sidelights free.
So does this sound like a good idea for £29.50?

just a bit of clarification
the main beams are H7 (inner / lower pair of lamps) and the dipped beams are also H7 (outer / upper pair of lamps) hence to swap each bulb you'd need four bulbs (two sets as they are sold in pairs). this is why I said you could try a pair of bulbs in either mains or dips to see which you get the most difference...
twin filament bulbs (H4 type) are in the standard bugeye lights if it's these you're getting confused with
the sidelights are a small seperate bulb in the same lamp housing as the main beams (inner / lower ones) so that when you have dipped beams on, you also have sidelights on as well. when you put main beams on, the dipped beams stay on so both sets of lamps are lit
the indicators are upper outer corners (the orange bits obviously )
let me know if you need any other info...

Wakeboarder
you've come to the same conclusion then?
I've had HID in mine and am now taking them off due to the pants vision on dip beam. AFAIK with info from a dealer, Prodrive released and then discontinued a HID upgrade for the lights - what did they know and didn't let on...
now got hold of a set of OE hid lamps so will see how these go, i.e. designed for the job hopefully

suppose I'd better answer the original question after the rant
are you thinking of fitting them in the main beams or dips? I had them in the mains along with the HID in the dips and they were OK - the beam pattern is decent and gives a reasonable throw of light where you want it
I can't help much for the dips as mentioned above but if you can get a decent alignment setup they might not be too bad - they should look slightly bluer compared to std halagens but don't expect BMW / Merc colours as these are HID and a lot cooler / whiter.
also, be aware that bluer lights are less effective in rain / fog IMO as they are less of a contrast to the "atmospheric" colour than "orange" std halogens...

BB,
Yes, they are the mains and dips - they are both H7 bulbs on the WRSport / UK300 lights so you could try them in either position to see what you think...
the things can be difficult to manoeuver in if you've got more than long, spindly fingers and you might have to end up taking out the light but this should be a last resort.
