How do I alter the angle on my offside headlight, aside from the electrical adjustment?
The offside one is angled up too high, but the nearside one is OK, so I just need to get it inline with the nearside one.
It's an MY 98 turbo.

Up/down adjusters are a large hex headed nut, set vertically on the rear of the lights. They go into the electrical adjuster boxes.
Can't remember which way you turn it, but a couple of turns with it pointing at a garage door, will soon tell you.
I'd be inclined to set it to match the other for height, then take it to a long, flat straight road, and fine tune it.

Cheers mate.
Just tried it, and whilst it moves a bit, it clicks back to what it was. Must have spent 10 minutes, turning at least 100 times, and it's only moved down a couple of mm (if that) - not enough anyway!
Was tempted to take light apart - took the clips off, but stopped there as it's dark and din't want to break anything.

Sulli - If its a 98 UK, then the glass DOES NOT split from the back easily - I'd put the clips back on !
I took a look at mine (with Alcazar's notes as help) - Chances are, if you look inside the lamp with it off the car
and the adjuster removed from the back, you'll see a plastic slide, with a ball shaped hole (white plastic).
The ball from the adjuster should fit into this ! Mine had come out, and needed re-fitting.
Hope this helps,
Mark
