PIAA problem - Please help!
#1
Hi,
Just noticed that there is loads of condensation on the inside of my PIAA lights (18 months old) so decided to try and remove the lense cover. I removed one of the screws that is positioned at 3 o'clock as you look at the light however, it doesn't seem to have "released" anything. When I tried to replace the screw there is nothing for the screw to bite in-to.
What does the screw do and how do I get it back in?
How do I stop the condensation?
Cheers.

I did this with mine & found there is a plastic square circlip that falls away when you undo it.they are a get to get back in
so i used a small amount of clear silicone sealant to hold them in place when i refixed.
to get rid of the condensation use the lamps for a short time on a night if they are not used then the condensation drips to the bottom & corrodes the lens
hope this is of some help.

Where's the condensation? In the lens/reflector unit(visible through the glass) or in the lamp body?
If it's in the first, take the whole unit off, remove the bulb, and place it in the airing cuopboard overnight.
Then place it in the freezer, bulb hole uppermost for 8 hours or so.
Finally, take it out, cover the bulb hole with plastic while taking it outside, and refit it all as quickly as poss, preferably on a cool dry day.
