avcr installation problem
went to solder the wires of the avcr loom to the ecu(my99 with link ecu fitted) the connectors going into the ecu box itself didn't match up with the diagram given with the avcr. if anyone still has their "vehicle specific wiring diagrams" booklet, if you check the my against the table, it says it should be ecu guide F4-a. this ecu has three connectors in it. my ecu has four sockets but only three are used. fine you might say, three goes with three, but therefore the connectors are not the same size/width and not the same amount of wires in each?!
any idea's peeps?

I think you'll find you only have 3 sockets with pins in them. The *fourth* won't actually be a socket...

but remember you wire in the avc-r to your plugs' wiring, not the ecu.
And the diagram would be for the JECS ecu not a Link.

Have fun.
I did Dougies wiring, so hope you have a big roll of insulating tape and a sharp knife to get the old tape off to see the wires!

It's the same plugs. You correspond with the wiring on the plugs, doesn't matter what ecu.
