No dash lighting, help
I posted earlier on this but here goes again.
The dash lights on my car and the lights for the aircon/heater controls etc do not work. No fuses are blown. Also, my sidelights and foglights don't work but I don't know if this is the same problem, I havent checked the fuse box in the engine compartment.
They used to work and I first noticed this problem some time after an alarm had been fitted but I don't know if this is the cause.
I have just taken it all apart and I can see where the alarm has been wired into various groupings of wires. I can identify the connection to the ignition wires, and also a couple of wires going to a large group of wires that head behind the dash, and then again there are a few connections from the alrm system to the car in the footwell near the fuse box.
I couldn't find any obvious disconnections and as I don't have a manual with wire colours I cannot be sure what to look at.
I'm now thinking that I need to take it to a professional unless I get a good manual for the wiring of a JDM 1994 WRX wagon.
Anybody got a manual, or can recommend an experienced car electrician.
Cheers

replaced fuse in engine compartment and all seems ok now.
Can't believe how much time I wasted taking it all apart as I didn't know the sidelight fuse would effect the dash display fuses!!!
