'Door open' warning annoying beeeeeeep when ignition on

MY93 WRX. Can anyone tell me where this annoying bastid is located so I can rip it out and throw it to f~ck? Thanks

I removed the covers behind the steering wheel & the dash cover that fits above the feet. I found a springy type button (switch) traced from the ignition/indicator looms which when pressed and held in stopped the annoying beeeeep sound. You could just tape it up.

The pushy thing in the door of mine doesn't work, so the interior light doesn't go on when you open the door and hence the beeeeper doesn't go off

Not good on dark winter nights though.

Hi Mate,

The actual buzzer/bleeper thing is mounted to Right hand side of the Dash on the back of the dials. At least thats where mine is.

There are 2 big plugs and one smaller one on the back of the dials, the smaller one is the buzzer, just unplug if you want.
