Snooper SLD920X laser jammer help !!
Hi there,
ive purchased a Snooper SLD920X laser jammer and need to know if the 2 sensor boxes are water proof??? The 2 boxes are going to have to be mounted on the under-side of my rieger bumper (MK4 VW Golf- non standard front bumper), underneath the reg plate as there is no where else to put the 2 sensors, not even a little bit of room in the grille!!!! In the place they are going to be mounted they are going to see A LOT of water, so i need to know if they can withstand a lot of water!! Any comments / help / advice would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.

Have the blinder m10 twin model myself which is just an american market snooper sld920x, have had no problems with mine but just before fitting it I was advised to seal along all edges off the two units with a silicon sealant as one or two users had returned there units due to water finding its way into the units by the front edges.
so would certainly advise you to do what I done and run a clear silicon along all edges and more importantly at the rear where the wires enter each unit which is another common rust / water weak spot.
hope this is off some help ??!!
great units otherwise, with some great reviews !!
cheers,
john
