Help - Front side lights and rear tail light stay on when lights off and engine off

Help - Front side lights and rear tail light stay on when lights off and engine off
Drove back today on 4 hour drive and when stopped and switched lights and engine off, and got out, noticed side lights and tail lights still on. Quickly checked wires for the obvious but to dark. Only option was to disconnect battery until daylight. Does anyone have any ideas?

Theres a switch on top of your steering column, parking lights!

Oh ****! cheers mate I reckon thats what it is as I was dusting around there. I didnt think about that but I know they are there let me check. Thanks again can reconnect battery now
