Default Blown Foglight Bulb

Hi Guys, Have tried searching for this but couldn't find anything. Is it easy to replace the Foglight Bulb (drivers side front) on a '94? Do you attack from outside the car or behind the bumper?

Cheers, Tony.

3 bolts, one above inner edge of foglight, one below inner edge, one at outer edge, lower, also holds on the indicator lens.

10mm IIRC, you need socket and extension bar to remove them.

Bulb is easy once light's out, they are H3.

BTW: good idea : replace all bolts removed with equivalent in stainless from Screwfix, or a local bolt and nut stockest, (see www.yell.com)

or copper slip the bolts. you will probably find they will shear off. poxy things take the brunt of the road grime for years and end up seizing in.

Are these bolted from the front or from behind the bumper? Can find the 3 mounting points you describe but no bolt heads. Help?

From the front. OE bolts are 10mm head hexagons, you need a 4" or so extension bar and a socket.

Replacements could be Allen bolts, or, like mine, security headed Allen bolts.
Take a torch to it for a better look, but they are DEFO on the outside.

AH................unless you have Cibies fitted? In which case, I dunno, my old Cibies used to come apart with a screw through thye casing?

just been and had another look, if you look down into the bolt holes there are definitely no bolts, i managed to get a little pencil torch behind the bumper and it shines rught throught the hole. I then noticed that they are cibies but are not screwed throught the casing. It would also seem that they have been forced into the gap and are slightly too big as the bumper is cracking behind them. I will get my mechanic to have a look as its due a service anyway.

Thanks for the help, Tony.

If they're Cibies, I'd bet a pound to a penny they are driving lights, not fogs.

Someone on here with the same lights will know how to change a bulb........try a post with a title about bulb change in Cibies.

Thanks Alcazar, i'll give that a try, though they do seem to be Fogs as they are very bright and only shine a short distance in front of the car. Hope they are driving lights as that was a conversion i was looking to do in the future as the lights are pants.
