I have....
The main purpose is to give a better earthing for your car. You wont feel any difference is power but you might get better lighting power.

also its good if u have alot of ICE.

Cheers Mike

Its lighting that I am looking for really, I have an MY02 too with Morette's
and they are not as good as other cars I have had. I got new bulbs coming
and thought bout this too, if it improves the current.

If you're worried about lighting, you could do a LOT worse than fit your car with relays: one for the main beam and one for the dips, and feed the lights direct from the battery, using thicker cables, via fused relay, or relay and inline fuse. Then earth direct back to battery.

There WAS a thread on here as to how to do it, TimH I think?

He HAD 9.6V across his headlight bulbs before fitting it, with nearly 13V after, and 14.4 at the alternator!

BTW: if you fit higher wattage bulbs, I'd defo advise the above!

After ftting my 6 point kit the car runs alot smoother and also starts easier.

Might try the head light method though as mine are really crap.

Ozzy has some info here
