Fog light relay fault...2002 WRX...HELP!
Anyone know where the fog light relay is on an MY02 UK WRX? Mine has a fault...dealer fitted Hella driving lamps to the existing for wiring and it's since burned out the relay...I've sorted the re-wire so lights work with full beam, but I think the relay is still causing electrical draw from the battery...want to remove it.

AS,
According to a wiring diagram I have, the front fog relay is in the Black Relay Block which is the bulkhead one inside the car, i.e. underneath the removable panel beneath the steering wheel unless you can get access to it through "holes" without having to take it off.
The relay is numbered B48 with terminal numbers 19,20,21,23 - can't tell you the colour of the relay but it looks to be the 4th relay down starting from the opposite end to some fuses...
If you PM me an email addy, I'll try to cut & paste the relevent bits if I get chance...
Andy
PS I'd go and look but I'm not suitably attired and it's persisting down

Take the panel off under the steering wheel. On the right hand side of the steering column there's a box with the fuses on facing you. There's another panel clipped alongside, and just to the left of, the fuse box. There's space for 5 or 6 relays, could be some fuses at the top can't remember. The fog lamp relay is fourth one down as said above.
