Default Flat Battery question????

Just found that I have a flat battery ,I've charged it up and started the car can get the car out of the garage due to the bad weather in Cumbria......

I noticed on my SECS data monitor the battery is sitting as 12.3 volts at idle anyone know if that's about right?

You should be getting over 13.5v. This would indicate a good charging circuit.

Check the battery terminals and earth to the body as well as the possitive connection to you alternator. Any corrosion needs to be cleaned off.

Keep your sidelights on, and when it's next serviced get them to pop a new foglight relay in.
