Wink

It can be done, but as they are only AFAIK made for the later bonnet/grille, you end up with a bit of a gap between the inner edges of the lights and the grille.

IMHO it's not a problem, but AFAIK, some styling places do a replacement grille that remedies it.

Trouble is, with Morettes not cheap, the extra for the grille puts folk off

Can you contact the bumper supplier for advice on if they'll fit? Probably easier than waiting for someone on here who just happens to have the same bumper AND Morettes

The bumper was made in 94 so i dont think i will have much luck going down that route.....

The bumper is also quite rare so i was hopping that maybe someone has done the morrete thingy, and you generally get every pc/scoob owner on here at one time or another.....

Well I'm in the same boat as 'TooQuicksilver' but I have the original grille and bumper. I have looked on a few websites that sell the morette lights and I obvisouly know that they are designed for 98 onwards, but most of them say they can fit a MY94 with modification, but none of them actually state what this modification is. Can anybody please give me some insight as what you have to do to make them fit as I'm ready to order a set but dont want to if it is going to involve some crazy cutting of parts,

Cheers in advance, Dan

Also forgot to mention its the newer kind of morette lights, the halo angel eye type, not the tradition style. I popped into my local Subaru specialist ( http://www.revolution.eu.com Newcastle, England) who are quite big in tuning and aftermarket parts and he seems to think that most people upgrade the bonnet and grille, and after about 10 minutes of arguement with him saying that people have stated they fit the standard MY94 bonnet and grille with slight modification, he seemed to think that they do fit and that he had to shave a tiny bit off the light unit so the bonnet line fits flush, and there is also a gap inbetween the tappered part of the light and the grille due to the MY98 grille being slightly longer. However he did seem a little unsure and sketchy about the whole idea, so I'm still looking for some mastermind explanation on here!!!

I fitted them to my 94 wagon. I changed the grill for a 22B style one and cut the top off it and fitted it. There's no gaps beside the lights and the bonnet matches up a treat. The old slatted grill didn't sit in too well with the ligts in place.
I dunno how to post a pic but I could mail you some.
Cheers
John
