its easy mate, just pull off the gromet on the back of the headlight, push the bulb holder on each side for it to release, then its just a matter of taking the clip off the back of the bulb and its out.

Wink

You need to squeeze the two sides of the rubber cover together in order to pull it off. Then there are two sides to the wire clip, but you'll see what to do.

Don't touch the glass on the new bulb. Once it's in, ensure it's seated properly before, and after refitting the connector, or the beam will be all over the place.

Simple really.

Alcazar

Oh: forgot to mention, you need hands the size of Jeremy Beadle's little 'un and the patience of a saint, even to do that!

Tony... are you looking for the sidelights that basically shine bright white ?
Let me know how you get on please as I have just changed to a classic and have put crystal clear sides in, the clear bulbs let them down as they seem to have the yellowish tint to them.
My mate thinks you have to get bulbs that have a blue tint in them ? to get them bright white ? got no idea myself so I don't even know where to start lol

Cheers
Simon

Question

Try Autolamps Online, they used to give away, and maybe still do, a pair of very white sidelights with every pair of Philips Vision Plus bulbs bought from them.

They probably sell 'em seperate too.

I have been thinking of changing the bulbs on my STI 7 for a while, where did you get these?
