There are bulb holders in it, but mine's never lit up - although I haven't tried putting bulbs in as the contacts look buggered on mine

Think Messiah is on about the head light height switch which has two bulbs in it.
The bright switch and the headlamp clean switch are not backlit.
Hope this helps

I've a spare one sat on my garage shelf.
Its got two silver blanking disks where the bulbs would normally go, do these peel off to reveal bulb holders ?
(Should go and investigate really - I'll have a look tomorrow )

Chris - yes.
Actually, the blanking discs on mine have already been half taken off which has made me think they were FUBAR as I thought the silver was part of the contact (or whatever the techie name is)
Not tested it yet but will have to give it a go. Not entirely sure why it needs 2 bulbs though...
Will have a look later, need to fit my new mobile phone holder anyway

Checked the headlamp washer switch tonight (even though its sold to someone on here )
The silver disks peel off to reveil bulb holder slots but there's no wiring to connect them up or any contact material for the bulb holders.
They must add a load more wiring, and all the internal gubbings to make them light up. Maybe another make of car (Nissan or similar) uses a lit one ?
The headlamp height adjust switch has two bulbs - one for the numbers and one for the slot on the **** that shows what height is selected.
The bright switch has no bulbs, nor does it have holes for bulbs to be added.
That should make things clear as mud now

I thought as much - I had a look last night too but the only thing I managed to do was knacker that replacement bulb you sent me before Christmas
Can you post me a link up to Maplins or wherever for replacements?
