Default Classic Morrette Bulbs help please !

I believe that the classic morrettes use H4 & H2 bulbs
Replacing the H4 is simple but has anyone found a decent H2 upgrade

Cheers in advance

It's a bit of a "catch 22" situation: IF you can find some decent higher wattage bulbs, you can then find that they cause problems, and these are worse because the inner H2 equipped lights on classic Morettes are so small, physically.

The main prob with H2 bulbs is the bulb holder. It also doubles as the connector, and if it gets hot, it loses it's "temper" or springiness. This leads to poor contact, arcing and premature bulb failure.

I have Morettes on a classic and haven't bothered with the inners, but the outers run GE Megalights 60% uprated and I also have HID driving lights fitted.

If you want some higher wattage H2's try: Vehicle Wiring Products, http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.c.../lights-3.html, No 488, about half way down. £6.59 each.

And don't forget bigger fuses.
