offside headlight...
not working.
Possibly this should be posted in Lighting but I'll see what happens.
The offside headlight on my 93 classic is not working as a headlight, it will work as part of the full beam.
I have checked or swapped the fuses & relay's & bulb but still it won't work, I tried to check the cables bit they are wrapped inside a bundle with the other light cables and then the disappear into a blcak plastic conduit that goes into the inside of the wing.
Has anybody else had this problem and if so can it be fixed by myself or will I have to leave it in somewhere ?
Does anybody have a wiring diagram that could help me trace the cables etc ?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated as my car is due for MOT next month,
Thanks, Windyboy.

do you have a multimeter?
if so check for 12V at the plug when the lights are turned on. this rules out the wiring if you get voltage here.
check the pins in the plug are clean - they my be a bit rusty - clean if required.
is the bulb "a good one"? try it in the other side.
check the tangs on the bulb - they have a tendency to rust on one or more.

I have checked the wires with a multimeter and there was no voltage coming through, the headlight went out one other time but I just slapped the lens and it came back on again.
I will try cleaning to pins in the plug to see if that helps.
