Fog lamps - 2 bulbs each.
Hazards - yes - 1 bulb
Rear Demister - yes 2 bulbs
Bright switch - no
Headlamp adjuster - yes 2 bulbs
headlamp washers - no (although there is space for 2 bulbs )
To get foglamp switches out;
Remove the little tray under the switches that reveal the fuse panel.
put your index finger up (oo-er) to feel the under side of the switch and find the clip that holds it in place right behind the dash - push on it HARD while gently prising the switch upwards with a screwdriver from the front.
Hazards / Rear demister;
Remove the cupholder, then pull the switch from the side to unclip it - these are probably the trickiest to do - and even tricker to swap bulbs in, they're a sealed unit.
Headlamp adjuster;
1) either prise it out with a screwdriver but you're likely to scratch something or 2) remove the centre console and push it out from the back.

I'm assuming you have a classic.
The cup holder next to the demister switch - pull it out and you can see a screw either side of it - undo those.
...or did you not know it was a cup holder?

that's the tricky part - I wrecked my switches trying to get them apart and when I did I couldn't find replacement bulbs anyway.
Had to buy new switches (well 2nd hand @ £15 each rather the £75 the dealer wanted)

Its possible to change the bulbs but as he's pointed out there is a chance of braking things - plus if you drive with the Hazard switch not connected your indicators cease to work.
I've a complete set of switchs with good bulbs sat on my garage shelf.
I'll do an exchange deal with you if you wish - I'll send the switches you need and you return your bust ones once they arrive.
You pay the postage & bulbs costs.

Your thread has finally prompted me into writting a two page instruction sheet !
I'd like a complete novice to try them out, so that I can test & tweek them and maybe add photo examples.
Its my local Subaru club meet this Sunday so I'll grab a willing / unwilling volenteer and camera and get to work.
You can have what I've typed up so far but your Profile E mail is switched off, and I don't want to post them on here without first checking them.
Drop me a mail or catch me on www.ladsoc.co.uk if you want them "as is".

I've got my old bust switches still - I'll have a go at the instructions and see if they can be fettled up.
No clips as yet mate - hoping I can get the old bolts out though but not had the chance to try yet - had a operation on my wrist last friday so the chances of me getting a good grip on anything was a bit remote...

Should do but TBH I've never stripped one.
I presume there very similar, just sat in different locations.
The BT43W is a 12V white bulb, so it should be universal.

Is it the fog switchs your typing about ?
If so, the bulbs are white.
Its the backing strip inside the switch that gives it its colour - so I'd say no - can't be done, as you don't have to strip the switch apart to get at the bulbs.
