rear lights stay on??

rear lights stay on??

Anyone heard of this one before
switched the lights off got out of car and rear lights are still on?
any ideas much appreciated

If your side lights are on too then there is a parking switch ontop of the steering column/ plastic ignition surround cover. Maybe its on.
