Default European lights

i Have a MY99 and i need some new european headlights, does anyone know if Morretts are able to be set up to work correctly on the continent

No, not correctly, although you can use beam deflectors, or make your own for those lights. If you're moving out there, it's not an option. It won't pass a controle technique with beam deflectors.

However, Cibie lights, since those are what are in Morettes, would be available in Right Hand dip configuration for about £100 the pair, or visit a scap yard, you want 5 3/4 " round lights.

i'm already here in Germany cos i'm a squaddie, i'm just looking into different options, cheers for the reply though i will look in the local spares shops for said lights

You might try breakers, although IIRC the last cars to carry those lights were the Capris and Mk3 Cortina, (Taunus), so possibly a car accessories shop could order you a set for one of those models?
