I have noticed both the sidelight/spotlight unit and the headlamp units have decided to break (spotlight unit is cracked and the headlamp unit seems to have 'moved')


The question is, Are new lamp units available ??

Morettes, as in classic, quad optics?

For those, both are available, the outers are standard Cibie 5 3/4" units, as fitted to Capris, and Mk3 Cortinas. the inners are 5 1/4" units, IIRC, but both are available from Ripspeed, Demon Tweeks etc.

I'm afraid it does. The classics used standard, readily available Cibie units, the Bugeye and later versions, didn't.

I'd suggest trying someone like Graham Goode, amongst others, they sell the Morettes, IIRC, and MAY be able to source spares.

Select 5 3/4, H1 and no sidelight.

Think this is the one, but do check. £24.49 plus theft.

Don't think that's it Chel, classic inners are about 5 1/4", and use a single H2 bulb.

Demon Tweeks will know what unit they use though.
