Flat Battery
I was hoovering the car out last night and I put the interior lights so I could see what I was doing. Anyway as the lights arent that bright I forgot to turn them off once I locked up. Went to take the car out for a spin tonight but everything was dead even the central locking wouldnt open, the battery is flat as a fart.
Is there anything untoward I should know about before I disconnect the battery to charge it? Will the alarm go off etc. The manual is next to useless and tells you nothing!
The car is a MY05 STI PPP
God I feel such a tit

when you unlock the door with the key and open it there is a good chance the alarm will go off you need to open the bonnet and put a booster pack or jump leads on the battery and turn the ignition on as this will deactivate the alarm. and remember to take your keys out of the car before you take the battery lead off or there is a good chance it could lock the keys in the car.
