Default battery

which place has subaru batteries? apparently kwikfit doesnt as their batteries arent good enough, anyone come across this problem?

nothing special about Subaru batterys....just get the same voltage/amp per hour and size any motor part outlet will sell them

might have some budget on in there so what should the figures be for an impreza 01 wrx?

When I replaced mine I got a battery from Halfords with a 4 year warranty.

Just try your local motor factors, they'll prob be cheaper than Halfords. The ampage will be written on the top of the battery, prob around 55 amps.

Got mine from Halfords, they had a deal on at the time 20% off the uprated batteries. Been on for nearly a year and no Probs, 4 year warrenty as well.

Got mine from Costco. Bosch Silver 6DA which are just under £40 last time I looked. 3 or 4 year warranty, can't remember which. Not had a problem since I throw the old OEM one.

Halfords HCB005 about £50 (Calcium/4yr guarantee). Pleased with mine.

I have always used Hoppeck batteries and will stick with them in the future. 5 year guarantee

ok wasnt expecting this, i thought a battery was a battery but it seems that the terminals have swapped round and now the wires dont reach
Has anyone noticed this and what have you done about it, are different makes placed differently?



1st one is old present one, 2nd is the new one that doesnt reach...

The best thing would be to take the battery back and change it for the right one.

was supposed to be compatible. its just annoying you have to spend almost double just because the wires are afew cms too short...
