Back of the headlights there should be a type of nut you need to turn with a spanner to adjust headlight height. You have to adjust each one seperately obviously.

There's usually two adjusters, one to move the light side to side and another to move it up and down. So they might both be right. Give them a twiddle and see if the lens moves. Or ideally park about 3m from a flat surface (garage door is favourite), wait until it gets dark, put dip on and twiddle away watching the beam pattern move.

hi guys, just finished! 1.30am!!!!
I would like to share my experience here just in case someone comes across with my situation.
I had to put my 3 yr old to sleep first!!
Couldnt do it during the day because of the sun light!
It all started when I fitted HID and the alignment is became too high so i had to adjust to lower the beam.
Anyhow, I started work on the car st 11.30pm. Messed with both adjusters and couldnt get any movement at all. The no1 adjuster does nothing and no.2 is the correct one for up/down adjusting. Like i said it didnt do anything until i took the whole lamp apart and found the pin inside no.2 had come off the ball joint. Took me ages to figure that out! then i unscrewed the assembly and wacked it back in. bang it works now.
If u screw clockwise it will adjust downwards. Do not over screw as this will likely to pull the joint off!
The no.1 adjuster dont seem to do anything, i didnt need to touch that. maybe it is for side to side!
Oh well, i am happy and can sleep properly now.
BTW the car is sti import 97 classic.
Before HID.................>>>

Post HID - u can see the driver side lamp is abit high/brighter - i havent taken pic of the corrected light yet but u probably dont need to see it!..................>>>

THANKS for all your advise guys!
