Bugger! Just got me 1995 Legacy Turbo back after two weeks of not being used. Battery was reconnected. Parked up on the drive, used the fob to lock and arm the alarm. Went back to it about half an hour later and the fob wouldnt unlock it. The light on the fob flashed but I changed the batteries anyway. Still no luck. So when I open the door with the key, the alarm goes off and the immobiliser is armed. Any ideas? Never had this prob before and there isnt anything in the way of radio interference. And to add to the prob, Ive parked in such a way that me Prelude is stuck behind it on the drive so I cant get that out either! What I want to do ideally is disarm the bloody thing altogether. How do I find the control box and then bypass the immobiliser?
