Default door timer relay

Ive been told my door timer relay is the source of my probems.

Does anyone know how to get the glove box and surrounding panel off a bugeye?
Ive got the sill trim off that goes up as far as the flare(jdm)
Ive got the three screws top and bottom of glove box, but it still wont budge.

Must be something im missing, I think..

cheers

I have done this on the classic pre96 & 98 cars so it won't be excatly the same but the 98 had different bolt/screw position.
You should fine a few 10mm bolts also holding it in place.

The main thing is are you sure the dtr is on the passenger side footwell.
On the pre96 is was but on the 98 car it was on the driver side? Up on a bracket.
Just a thought before you start stripping it down.
Try contacting a few breakers to make sure of its excat location.

All the dtr will have a sticker on the box with the part number & door timer relay wriiten on it.
The part no. is the important bit as some vary between models.
