Default Adjusting proximity on Clifford Concept 600

Ever since I've had my WRX, the dual zone Clifford proximity sensor has plagued me with false chirps. They never show up on the record of the last eight sensor activations. Is it only full siren activations where the sensor is logged?

I know how to turn off the proximity entirely, first the outer zone and then the whole proximity function. But what I want is to fix it so it that it actually works properly. How do you adjust the sensitivity to change the size of the dual activation zone? Is there a screw or something underneath it?

with the 5 button g5 remote!

disarm the alarm,

press the clifford button 3 time's and then the * button 1 time!
(you will get 1 beeb)

then to increse the outer proxy sensor press ** 1time,

then press the boot release button to turn it up + each time you press it you will get a hight pitch beeb that will get higher each time you do so to tell you it is increasing range!

then when as high as you would like it,

press the arm/dis-arm button
you will get (2 beeb,s)

then press it again you will get (3 beeb's) to tell ya it is finished setting proxy sensor.

if you want to turn it down insted of pressing the boot release button
press the * button this will beeb each time you press it and will get a lower tone each time

then arm the alarm. job done.

dont set it too high as it will beeb every time it bloody rain's as it will see the rain running down the window's

Using the master remote:

press the level shift button on the side of the remote 3 times

then press button 4 once

siren will chirp once
led will come on

then to adjust the internal zone press button 4 to decrease
button 2 to increase

to end internal adjustment press button 3 and the siren will chirp

then to adjust the external zone press button 4 to decrease
button 2 to increase

when you have finished adjusting: press button 1, you will get 2 chirps
press button 1 again you will get 3 chirps

Brilliant ticky, many thanks! Just remind me which are the button numbers on the master? 1 is the big top one, but which way round do the other go?

One other thing...can you test it 'live' so to speak, while you're doing the adjustments? Or do you have to finish what you're doing, reset the alarm with the windows down and test out the internal and external zones that way?

I would finsih what you have set, then come out of the adjustments setting etcs & then arm the alarm. Do your testing then to see if it all works. I left the rear windows open to test the internal zone.

You can test it whilst in the setup menu, it emits a bleep rather than the warn away screech. You want to test the inner zone with the front windows open rather that the rear.
