Just installed an avcr boost controller on my 2002 STI and the yellow light is illuminated on the dash above the temp guage, any ideas?

The car runs perfect and boost controller works perfectly as have wired a few of these in with no probs

ps what is the light on the dash above the temp guage?

Found out its the check engine light, why is this, i thought you could take away the 3 port solenoid completely or what is causing this?

I'd just plug it back in and leave it disconnected pipe wise.... i think theres a resistor or diode you can connect the wires with but not sure what type or rating...

cant plug it back in as avcr boost solenoid and map sensor is in its place.

Will just wire the appropriate 4.7k or 10k resistor in place thanks
