Don't think so.
Only info I know of is a guy in the US putting STI clocks into one of those US 2.5RS jobbys.
Can't remember the site now though. Ravensblade Impreza or summat - google ravensblade Impreza.

The only problem is the speedo will not read correct from what I can gather.
Whether a electronic convertor may solve the speedo calibration issue?

I don't post here much, but I found the link in my referrer logs
. I can tell you they are straight swaps into USA Imprezas- I can't imagine it's much different for you guys. Our classic Imprezas are non-turbo whereas the STi is turbo'd, and it's a straight swap. The cluster reads in KPH (we use MPH here and I just have to convert in my head) but the distance is correct.
