Default Interior/Dash lights

In my 99 classic, these lights don't illuminate with the headlights: BRIGHT button, Headlight level adjustment, Headlight washers, Heated rear screen button, hazard light button, front and finally rear fog light buttons.
Is this normal?
thanks

Not sure if there different (mine is a 96), but I know my fog light buttons light up and my hazard button. I don't think the rear de-mist button does as it shows up on the dash.

Thanks for the replies. The 96 dash layout is different to the 99 layout (going by previous pics).

Any one else got this "problem" ?

The bulbs in the switches have probably blown. They are tiny GOW (Grain of Wheat) bulbs that you can get in Maplin.

I had to replace two of mine recently. Easy to do, there are a few sets of instructions on the various forums.

Done this today. Very good guide, probably wouldn't have known about them bulbs if you didn't say. Got 6 in maplins for 3.99 odd.
Only thing was, I couldn't get the "condoms" of the Headlight level adjusters bulbs, so they don't light up green no more.
cheers.

cheers. got an item number of ebay?
Not sure what to look for, wire bulbs?
I was thinking, it sounds fairly common for these to go, so it might be easier to solder an LED onto the contacts where these bulbs go. Saves having to do it all again.

Just paint the white ones with a highlighter pen
