Where are the ballasts on a JDM MY03 STI Twin Scroll??
Hi all im going to be fitting my HID kit next weekend, but one obvious question on my mind is where the ballast's should go?
my car is a sti my03 jdm (yes, my HID lights were removed by the SVA!
)
i want to go for an original fitment i.e. from an sti jdm twin scroll - could someone show me a pic of where the ballasts are located on the jdm sti's

Pretty sure they're fitted to a plastic cradle on the back of the light unit itself. There was a photo on here a couple of years ago but just searched and I think it's in a non-functioning photobucket.

i fitted a hid kit to my blobeye i secured the ballasts on the chassis under the headlamps it looks like a small shelf the wiring can be run through the hole inside the wing where other wiring runs
i dont know if this is where they fit as standard but it is nice and neat and cannot be seen
