Just about to fit a set of front morettes to my bugeye WRX.

I believe they take H1 and H7 bulbs ?
Which one is normal dipped beam ?

The headlights are brand new, never fitted so I was looking at upgrading the bulbs while they are going on. Can anyone recommend good replacements, esp for dipped beam either online or in-store.

Sorry cannot help you with the bulbs, but where did you buy your morettes from and how much did you pay, have been looking for a while now but they all seem to be very high priced

Good bulbs are the uprated ones, advertising 50% brighter, etc, rather than higher wattage.

Halfords are selling their 50% brighter range in the gold boxes, at the moment for BOGOF, so excellent value. Philips Vison Plus and GE Megalight are also highly rated.

Halfords bulbs also won a recent test in Auto Express, coming first in output and optical performance.

Are the output of morettes any better than the standard WRX bugeyes anyway (normal beam)

Got mine from here - they have online reviews - I got Osram - noticeable improvement on standard bulbs
