Spraying lights silver

Can somebody tell me if you can spray the orange on the back lights silver, i have see people have done red and black.If so is this easy

not sure how they do it now but used to get a permanant marker pen and colour them in

u can mask the red bit up and use a light tinting spray which u can buy from most halfords
