Default Heater problems!!

i put white dials in my95 wrx since then the selector switch for were you want your heat to be expelled isnt working. The hot and cold works and so does the strength and the air con, its just the vent selector. Any Ideas????

cable in drivers footwell on centre colum side. remove lower dash trim and u should see it.

If its a import model then there are no cables but metal rods that attach to motor servo & control flap.

Some thing could be blocking the rods operation or its come off.
Or the motor servo is dead & needs replacing.
You should be able to figure out which servo it is by looking at its opertion while you turn the control dial. Either way its akward to get at but still possible to fix with the dash on.

The servo is a small grey box, one on each side of the main heater unit.

youre rite!!!! there no cable and the metal rod had came off the servo i must have knocked it when i did the white dials. thanks for your replys all sorted.
