Front Fog Lamps ?
Can anybody help with this,
My98 STI - Has fog light covers but no fog lights.
What would be involved in fitting fog lights to this car, it would appear to have female spade connections behind the covers, that look as if they join the loom with the indicators?
any help would be appreciated.Sorry if this is a bit vague.
Craig.

Firstly, you need to check if there are the threaded inserts behind the foglight covers. There should be three, two at the bottom, one at the top. If not, you'll need that part from a Scoob dealer, or a breaker, try GradeA at Hayfield in the High Peak.
Secondly, mine did not have spade connectors, but a two pole plastic moulded connector which mates with the one on a foglight. If you haven't got a dedicated switch, wiring is a pain too, as finding one that fits is like doing nowt, backwards.
Thirdly, foglights are a waste of time, if you want lights, investigate driving lights. A search on here will show that there are around 5 ways to do it, ranging from cheep and cheerful to expensive and hard work.
