Converting Classic FOGS to Driving Lamps...

This may sound a bit thick but is it possible to change the fog light bulbs to a higher wattage to acheive lighting similar to that of driving lamps. Or is the construction of the lens/reflector so differant its not worth considering?

Yes.

Do a search you'll find LOADS of stuff on driving lights, there's about 5 ways to go about it, ranging from cheap and cheerful to expensive and hard work.
