does 2001 bugeye have fuses 4 leccy windows , i dont seem 2 have power goin 2 bak ones!!! doesnt say it does in manual !

Silly comment but there's a switch on the drivers door that disables the rear windows. Presumably intended for use when you have kids in the back, sort of child lock but for the windows. You haven't pressed that by mistake?

I'm not sure about Scoobies specifically but I think leccy windows often have circuit breakers rather than fuses. These double up as safety devices, eg if you have your hand in the way, as the window hits your hand it tries to force it closed, current rises and the breaker trips before it cuts your hand off. But I would expect this to be one per window rather than one for both rears. Also not sure where they are physically, fuse box, relay box, at the motor or just built into the loom.

yeh ....... are there fuses for the electric windows for a bugeye (2001) because in the instruction manual it doesnt say there are.

OK, ta. I felt guilty about my previous unhelpful comment and edited it. So please refresh.

I've also just looked at the manual for a MY2004 car. There is a circuit breaker but I was wrong about there being one for each window, there's just one and it's for all four windows. So if your fronts work it's not that. Power comes through the circuit breaker then through an ignition controlled relay (so they only work when the ignition's on).

ok mate no worries, yeh the button was 1st thing i tried! i think found problem ! took apart the window unit and part smells ilttle burnt and look burnt so got one on order 2 test !
