Hi can anyone help urgently. The dashboard lights, heater controls, switches and cigarette ligter on my wife's '98 Legacy have just gradually disappearedover the last 3 days and I'm getting earache. I know they are all on the same circuit, is there a voltage regulator in the circuit and if so where is it ? Any help would be gladly appreciated then I can get back on with my scooby.

"Gradually disappeared"?
As in "went out one after another", or "became dimmer and dimmer all at the same time "?
If it's the former, I'd remove a bulb from the easiest to get at, (usually the cig lighter
), and check it first, then the others.
If it's the latter, try the fuse first.

Just out of interest, how easy is it to get to the heater control lights on an Impreza as I have lost a couple in my RB5 and it would be nice to have them working - I just don't want to have to dismantle half the interior to do it!
