Electric windows Problem
I've washed the Scoob today. Now it may be in shock but it's developed a problem with the elctric windows.
It's a 54 reg WRX wagon by the way.
When I turn on the ignition a unit behind the dash starts to click twice go quiet for a couple of seconds and then clicks twice again and so on. The red stars are the unit and disconnected lead and the green star is the bonnet release just to show the position. The second picture shows the unit itself. I don't think this is faulty.
I think that it must be a limit switch.
If I press the button to isolate all the windows except the drivers window the clicking stops and I can wind the drivers window up or down OK.
When I press the button again the clicking starts again.
I've disconnected the passenger door window switch and it still happens.
How do I get at the rear window switches? Do I have to take of the door panels?
I don't know if it's the unit in the drivers door with all the switches or the single switches in the rear doors.
Any ideas? Any help appreciated.
Dave.
